In its continued efforts from past 4 years of facilitating peer learning and creating a digital library of Workplace Insights on #FutureofWork in India, Corporate Shiksha organized its second edition of the Future Learning Conclave in India’s financial capital on December 1, 2017. The conclave was in partnership with SP Jain School of Global Management, one of the most premiere education institutes in the country, recently ranked among world’s top 20 by Forbes for 5th consecutive year.
This unique knowledge exchange program saw the participation of CEOs, CHROs, CLOs & HR Leaders from 60+ companies from 18+ Industry sectors. Leaders from companies like Sony, HDFC, Vodafone, Credit Suisse, Piramal Group, DHFL, BIC – Cello, Ador Welding, TCS, Deloitte, Mahindra & Mahindra and Corporate Shiksha shared Workplace Insights on Technology, jobs, and the future of work
The full-day event was segmented into three sessions:
- CEO Dialogue on Future of Work
- CHRO Dialogue on Creating a Culture of Learning
- CHRO Dialogue on Technology Trends & Insights from Best Workplaces
The Conclave began with Mr. Vikram Pandya, Director Fintech at SP Jain School of Global Management welcoming the distinguished guests and formally announcing the Conclave open.
The day kicked off with the CEO Dialogue on the Future of Work. In the panel was Mr. Uday Sodhi, Head – Digital Business at Sony Pictures Networks India Pvt Ltd., Mr. Dhiraj Relli, MD & CEO, HDFC Securities, Mr. Ankur Sethi, Founder CEO, Corporate Shiksha and Mr. Banesh Prabhu, Chief Strategy Advisor at Intellect Design Arena.
It was indeed fascinating to hear thought-provoking insights from business leaders and how are they preparing for the digital disruption in their respective industry sectors and on creating the winning culture in the organisation.
Next was the CHRO Dialogue on Creating a Culture of Learning. In the panel was Niranjana Harikumar, Head – Learning, Talent & OD, Piramal Group, Rajendra Mehta, Chief People Officer, DHFL, Dr. Sanjay Muthal, Former Managing Director, RGF Management Search, Rahul Ghatak, CHRO, BIC- Cello (Writing) Group of Companies and P Senthil Kumar, CEO from Gardener Consulting. They all shared insights on what it takes to build the culture in the digital age and how can organisation prepare to mitigate commonly known challenges in their tech transformation journey.
The Closing session was beautifully designed around the Technology Trends and Insights from some of the best workplaces in India. The goal of this session was to curate and showcase innovative people practices from some these organisations.
The panel was moderated by Sanchayan Paul, Senior VP & Head of Rewards at Vodafone and was accompanied by Prashant Bhatnagar, Director HR, Credit Suisse, Manoj Pandey, Head HR, Ador Welding Ltd., Rahul Ghatak, CHRO, BIC- Cello (Writing) Group of Companies and Shrikant Patil from The Boston Consulting Group.
One of the main highlights of the conclave was the Digital Dialogue Sessions, a detailed on-camera interview of the participating leaders. This was an attempt to create a digital library of Workplace Insights on #FutureofWork in India, to feature corporate case studies and thought leader’s perspective on tech transformation and culture building in the digital age. These learning videos will be made available to the global audiences through the digital platforms.
